Sophia (Weddle) Marsee Taylor Daughter of John Milton "Jack" Weddle Jr. and Julia (Warner) Weddle. Wife of (1) Henry Frank Marsee, (2) Robert Henry Taylor. Henry F. The daughter of Jack and Julia Warner Weddle, she was born at Faubush March 23, 1867. She married Robert Taylor and he preceded her in death 20 years ago. Mrs. Taylor is survived by one sister, Mrs. Cloda Rogers, Nancy; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Taylor spent 25 years in Texas before returning to this county some years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Funeral services will be held in the Sardis Chapel Methodist Church. The time and date have not been arranged. The Rev. Walter Carroll will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Whitis cemetery.
