Bio

KEARNEY — Lillian Kingston, 90, of Kearney, formerly of Arcadia, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at St. John’s Good Samaritan Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Arcadia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Hale officiating. Burial will be at Lee Park Cemetery west of Arcadia. Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 3, 1924, south of Arcadia to Forest and Anna (Nehls) Nelson. On Nov. 30, 1942, she married Orin Kingston in Kearney. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Duane of Amherst; daughter, Linda Markussen of Lincoln; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one stepgrandson.
