July 26, 1955 W. C. WILEY, 69, DIES; LAST RITES SCHEDULED TODAY TEMPLE, TX --W. C. Wiley, 69 died at his home, 2719 West Avenue H in Temple, Tuesday at 8:04 a.m. after an extended illness. Born Jan. 30, 1886, at Pleasant Valley in Dallas County, he had lived most of his life in Bell County. He had been a resident of Temple for the past 11 Years. He married the former Miss Anna Lee Morgan on Aug. 16, 1908. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. Surviving are his wife; four sons; Elzie, Lloyd, and Vernon Wiley, all of Temple, and Clyde Wiley of Bartlett; two daughter, Mrs Laverne Johnson of Temple and Mrs. Ola Mae Vaughn of Pendleton; two brothers, Lonnie and Grady Wiley of Temple; 16 grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lawson and Mrs. Ida Perkins of Athens, Mrs. Clarice Morgan of Gatesville, and Mrs Leta Winkle of Cameron. He was preceded in death by five children. Funeral services will be held at the Hewett Funeral home today at 3 p.m. with Rev, Willie Dodd of Davilla and Rev E. E. Wheless of Temple officiating. Burial will be in Rest haven cemetery near Belton. Active pallbearers are Jessie Southerland, Maurice Kelley, Ely Wiley, A. J. Harrison, Ernie Wiley, and Ray Goad. - J Dillard
