Bio

Adairsville Mr. John H. Benson died last Wednesday night, May 25th, of apoplexy. Mr. Benson was one of our highly esteemed citizens. He came from Norway when he was young and settled in Rusk, Texas, and from Texas he came to Georgia. He has lived here for a number of years. He was a devout father and an honest and upright man. The body was buried at Oothcaloga cemetery. He left three daughters and a son to mourn his loss. He was about fifty-five years old.
