William Earnest Bennett married Zelma Martine Parkinson on 15 December 1915 at Hood County, Texas. Religion was a large part of Mrs. Bennett's life. She became a member of the Temple Hall Methodist church at the age of 12 years. She taught Sunday school for many years.
