Rickey Lee Lott, of Kemp, passed away June 21, 2014 at his home. He was born November 9, 1943 in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret (LeMaster) Lott. Rickey owned and operated Bingo Dry Cleaners in Dallas on Garland Rd. and Buckner Blvd where he was very successful with a loyal client base. He retired about 15 years ago and stayed busy spending time with his wife, Frances, and family members. One of his favorite things to do was to travel to Louisiana and relax with friends and family. Rickey also kept active with a small business where he mowed land in and around Kaufman County as well as having a stall at Big Daddy’s Flea Market where he was able to visit, buy, sell, and trade any item that caught his eye. He had a great sense of humor and conversations with Rickey were always surprising and funny. A loyal friend and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Rickey will truly be missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over 50 years, Frances Lott of Kemp; children: Gene Richard Lott of Kemp; Kelley Ann Prince and husband, Louis Edward, of Mabank, Jerry Wayne Lott and wife, Tina, of Trinidad; grandchildren: Brittany Lott, Jasmyn Prince, Cayley Lott, Danielle Prince, and Louis Edward Prince, IV; great grandchild, Hayden Striegel; former daughter-in-law, Candace Lott of Rockwall; Siblings: Jimmy Lott and wife, Ruth, Ronnie Lott and wife, Shirley, and Marianna Lott as well as several other nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
