Leader-Telegram Eau Claire, Wisconsin Thu, Apr 15, 1926 · Page 8 Aged Resident Dies Here at 94 Thorn Hoff passed away at 12:10 Tuesday morning at the home of his son Thomas T. Hoff, 546 McDonough St. Thorn Hoft was born Sept. 24, 1831 at Soknedalen, Norway and at the time of death had reached the age of 94 years, six months, 25 days. In June 1859 he was married to Guru Olsdatter Hugdahl at Storen, Norway. They came to America in 1888 and settled in Eau Claire where they made their home. His wife preceded him In death 18 years ago. He is survived by six children, two daughters, Mrs. Syver Oyen and Mrs. Ole Hugdahl, both of this city, and four sons Ole Thompson Hoff of Stanley, WI William T. Of St. Paul, Oscar Thompson of Grande, Ore., and Thos. T. of this city, with whom he made his home one sister, Mrs. Andrew Jorgenson, Menomonie; two brothers, Arnt of Mt. Vernon, Wash., and Erick of this city; 29 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Six of his grandchildren will be pall bearers. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1. pm. from the residence, at 2:80 from the First Norwegian Lutheran church, the Rev. J. Wick officiating. 'Interment in Scandinavian cemetery
