Thanks to contributor #48796369 MARGARET MCMAHON Margaret McMahon, 89, of York died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in Fairmont. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Metz Mortuary in York. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Metz Mortuary in York is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McMahon was born March 16, 1911, to John and Sophie (Jaeger) Schlondorf at Gresham. She married James McMahon on Feb. 12, 1942, in York. He died in 1975. She was a teller at First National Bank in York for 28 years and also a hostess at the Chances-R Restaurant before retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York. Survivors include one sister, Marie Hernbloom of Clarks. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers.
