Virginia 'Marie' Mayer, 93 passed away on August 17, 2014. She was born on November 1, 1920 in Sinton, Texas to Joseph and Annie Miller Kring. She was a resident of Aransas Pass most of her life. She was a co-owner of Mayer T.V. & Appliance and Mayer Floral. She was a founding member of the Aransas Pass Lioness Club and loved working in her gardens & flowers. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold A. Mayer Sr., her son, Harold A. Mayer Jr., her parents and all her siblings. She is survived her loving daughter-in-law, Karen Mayer of Aransas Pass, Texas, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at the Aransas Memorial Park.
