Obit from the Council Bluffs, Iowa Nonpareil 10-05-2005 Gerald (Jerry) Bequette, 82. Jerry was an aircraft mechanic for Northern Natural Gas for 23 years and owned and operated J & H Manufacturing and Handicap Mobility in Carter Lake. Survivors include his wife, Marie; children, Tiger Bequette-Kelley, Nellie Bequette-Bull, Gary, Tom, Michael J. (Mickey), Dennis, Walt, Michael R., Todd, Rod; foster son, Mark Belt; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Juli Ferguson, Leann Keller, Mari Hornback, Seri Letak, Gary and Mark Krzemien; 13 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Colette Irwin of Lewisville, Texas, and Zita Bram of Colorado Springs, Colo.; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and great friends. Rosary 6 p.m. Sunday with a visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Queen of Apostles Catholic church, 3304 4th Ave. Burial will be in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be offered to Our Lady of Carter Lake Catholic Church.
