Age 25 years: .................................................. The only information that was in the death record book at the Yuba County Library for Bulford was his birth and death year and that he was buried in the Marysville Cemetery. The Marysville Cemetery was established in 1850 so even though it was assumed there were burials in it before 1850, Bulford is the first I had located. Looking for more information I discovered some on Ancestry.com family tree and also on a web site called, "The Wayne Family Book- West Virginia Genealogy" A big Thank you goes to the family members for doing this research. ................... In May 1845 in Washington County, Arkansas Bulford married Ruth Adams Brown. They had two sons, Thomas Joshua Fine and William Bluford Fine. Just a few short years later Bluford was in California. It seems that he was in search of gold, it is not clear if the family was with him or not, but the West Fork, Washington County Arkansas 1850 census shows his wife Ruth Brown and the two young sons living with her parents, Joshua and Ruth Brown. Bulford was such a young man and as happened to so many, he was gone long before his time. Bulford died during the gold rush in 1849 of pneumonia.
