Bio
June Price Loessberg, age 76, of Round Rock, Texas passed away on August 13, 2014 at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. She was born near Sugar Land in Thompsons, Texas on October 23, 1937. She grew up in Luling, Texas and attended Luling High School until the family moved to Bastrop, Texas, where she graduated from Bastrop High School. She started her work life at the Texas General Land Office in the late 1950's and married Les Loessberg in Austin on June 4, 1957. Other places of work included the Texas Employment Commission, IBM, Abbott Labs, IRS, the U.S. Census Bureau and Texas Property and Casualty Guarantee Association. Throughout her life she was a devoted wife and mother. For many years she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Austin. She enjoyed traveling with her family, especially to mountainous regions of the United States and Canada. She had a particular interest in state capitals and would make a point to see and photograph the capitol building in each state she visited. She was an avid fan of classic cinema and enjoyed her retirement years watching old movies. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Clinton Price and mother, Merle Price; husband, Leslie Stanley Loessberg and son, John Wesley Loessberg. She is survived by her sisters, Ginger White of Mineral Wells, Texas and Ann Richter of Luling, Texas; her son, James Leslie Loessberg of Round Rock, Texas and numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are welcome donate to the American Heart Association. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
