Bio

Son of William Jones and Mary Roberts Married Laura Pearson 1893. Sam and Laura moved from Dawson, Navarro County, Texas to Paducah, Cottle County, Texas by train in November, 1907. While on the train she helped a woman care for a sick child and Laura contracted measles and pneumonia. She died a few days later on November 13, 1907. Children: Archie L Jones Charlie William Jones Barbara Jones married Mary Aldrich abt 1911 Married Lulu L.
