Services Held For Scott G. Carlton -- Funeral services for Scott General Carlton, 57, were conducted Monday from the chapel of Watson-Huffman Funeral Home in Winchester with the Rev. A. N. Dortch officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Carlton, resident of Route 1, Decherd, died at his home Friday following a three months illness. Mr. Carlton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Tullia Ashley Carlton; four sons, Clayton Carlton of Beaumont, Texas, Collin Carlton and Harvey Carlton, both of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Clifford Carlton of Nashville; one brother, Jerry Carlton of Gurley, Alabama; five sisters, Mrs. Buna Gifford of Florida, Mrs. Lennie Koger of Huntland, Mrs. Dovie Gifford of Hammond, Indiana, Mrs. Charlie Wilson and Mrs. Pearlie Hawkins, both of Calumet, City, Indiana; and eight grandchildren.
