Obituary courtesy of Volzke Funeral Home: Edward “Ned” was born on January 28, 1936, to Edward P. and Gertrude (Hall) Medow in Seward, Nebraska. He attended school through the second grade. Ned enjoyed working on the farm with his dad. He loved being around people and was always happy. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska. He was involved with Region V Services and helped with the potato bakes at the Lied Senior Center in Seward. Ned passed away on August 12, 2014, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 15 days. He is survived by cousins; Region V family and friends. Ned was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gertrude Medow; brother, William L. Medow; cousin, Ronald Medow.
