Services for Theo Pharr Phillips, 81, of Lubbock, TX, will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in the Abernathy First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike O'Donnell, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. The family will gather to receive friends at Abell Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 13th. Mrs. Phillips died Saturday, May 10, 2014, in Lubbock, TX. She was born December 25, 1932 in Thalia, TX to Clifford Judson (C. J.) and Vida Keesee Pharr. She married Billy Kenneth Phillips on November 28, 1951 in Abernathy and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2005. She was also preceded in death her parents and a son, Richard Phillips on May 2, 2007. She is survived by 3 children, Steve Phillips and wife Leslie of Victoria, TX, Roger Phillips of Plainview, TX and Lee Anne Allen of Lubbock, TX, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
