Funeral services to celebrate the life of Marlene Adella Weinman Grimm, 71, of Alexandria, Virginia, formerly of Camden will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Camden with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Center. Memorials may be made in Marlene's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington , DC 20090-6011 Mrs. Grimm, widow of Richard "Dick"Grimm, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Springs Hill Mt. Vernon, Alexandria, VA. She was born in Arnold, NE., the daughter of the late Adolph and Rachel Hartman Weinman. She taught school at Camden High School, Camden Middle School and at Boylan Haven Mather Academy. She was a member of First Baptist church in Alexandria, VA and a former member of First Baptist Church of Camden where she sang in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher. In 2010, she moved to Alexandria, VA so her daughter could care for her. Surviving are her children, of Alexandria, VA, of Rock Hill and a step-daughter of Elgin, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a sister of Pawnee City, NE. Marlene was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Dick" Grimm and 3 step-children, Dick Grimm, Jr,, Bobby Grimm and Pam Grimm.
