Bio

John Jasper Hayman was the son of Harvey Hayman and Nancy Perkins. The Hayman family came to the "New World" in the mid 1600s and settled in Maryland. John Jasper Hayman prayed in the fields daily. It is unlikely that the headstone photo is that of John Jasper Hayman. Joseph J. Hayman is perhaps a brother or cousin. Eugenia, John Jasper's wife, listed him a John Jasper Hayman on the death certificate which also records birth and death dates that are different from the headstone.
