Carol Lou Palmer, age 67, much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on July 28, 2014 after a long battle. She was born September 26, 1946 in Salt Lake City to Clifford and Madeline Devey. She married Dale Pettit in 1960 (divorced in 1976) and had two children, R. James Pettit and Tracy L. Stilson. She married Stanley C Palmer in 1978, (divorced in 2004) and had two children, Amy L. Marsing and Erin M. Blass. She was a hard-working woman that loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to sew, crochet, and tole paint. She graduated from Horizonte Technical School. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all her remaining family members. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Calvary Chapel, 460 West Century Drive, Murray, Utah. There will be a private family viewing held before from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
