Amarillo Daily News, July 21, 2000 McLean - MARYE K. CROCKETT THOMAS, 88, died Thursday, July 20, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Church of Christ with Jim Reyna, minister, and the Rev. Thacker Haynes, of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery by Lamb Funeral Home. Mrs. Thomas was born in Jester, Okla., and was a longtime resident of the McLean area. She was a nurse. She was a member of the McLean Church of Christ. She married Emory D. Crockett in 1933 at Mangum, Okla. He died in 1980. She married Garth Thomas in 1988 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; four sons, Don Emory Crockett, David King Crockett and Richard Kent "Dick" Crockett, all of McLean, and Frank Douglas Crockett of Pasadena; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
