Bio

Amanda Olga Frosch, 101, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 at a local nursing home, one day before her 102nd birthday. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 at St. John United Church Of Christ with Chaplain Richard Rust officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Amanda was born in Lorena, Texas, to the late John August and Amalia Neumann. She was a lifelong member of St. John United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Frosch; son, Ernest Frosch; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include sons, Arno Frosch and Johnny Frosch, both of Waco; daughter-in-law, Annabelle Frosch of Midlothian, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Herbert Neumann and wife, Trudie, of Robinson.
