Bio
Born to David & Ruth (Foretnberry) Curtis. He grew up in Casper and Illinois and graduated from Joliet Township (Ill) High School. He served four years in the Air Force. He married Lisa Marie Leslie on August 22, 1975 in Las Vegas. They moved to Story in 1979. Mr. Curtis worked as a electrician for several contractors, including Modern Electric. He became a master electrician. He operated Courtesy Electric in Story from 1991-1997. He then did CAD drawing for electrical designs of computer furniture. He was a member of the Christopher Reeves Foundation and had been a volunteer with the Story Fire Department. He had been a memeber of the Masonic Lodge Kalif Shrine, York Rite and Knights Templar. He enjoyed music, reading, playing guitar, fly-fishing and the movies. He was proceeded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael of Sheridan and Theodore of Denver; a daughter, Jessica Buckingham of Story; his father of Texas; two brothers, David of California and Daniel of Colorado, a sister, Kelly Garman of Joliet; and two granddaughters. SERVED IN THE AIR FORCE.
