OBITUARY William "Bill" Blevins, 77, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014, at his residence. Bill was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. He enjoyed farming and camping, loved bird hunting. He was a member of New Union Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vance and Leona Arnold Blevins. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jo Lanford Blevins, of Dayton; a son, Tracy (Angie)Blevins; two daughters, Diana (Jackie)Smith, Beth Wilkey (David)Adcock, all of Dayton; one sister, Jane (Mike)Conner of Knoxville; one brother, Charles (Phyllis) Blevins of Dayton; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, with Dr. Danny Ruehling, Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald and Rev. Barry Walls officiating. Interment will follow at Shaver Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. today, July 27. Arrangements by Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home Inc., Dayton, TN 37321.
