Son of Charles G. & Emma C. (Nygren) Bergman. Married to Janet L. Newberry on 12-9-1951 at Aurora, NE. He spent many years in the insurance business in North Loup and Ord and later owned and operated Bergman's Resort at Johnson Lake for 13 years.
