Married first, 1886, Anton B Stara Two other Stara children (b. and d. 1890-1900) Married second, 1894, Joseph William Klanecky Two other Klanecky children: Anna (b. Jul 1899 NE, d. 1900-1904 NE) Anna (b.~1904 NE) m. Unknown Smith; lived Omaha, NE (possibly #73076199) --------------------------------------- MRS. JOSEPH KLANECKY Last week we mentioned the sudden death of Mrs. Joseph Klanecky. Her funeral, held from the Bohemian hall last Thursday afternoon, was one of the largest attended ever held there. Rev. Hosman of the M.E. Church, officiated and interment was made in the Bohemian cemetery. Mrs. Klanecky was a good wife and mother and the large number of those who came to pay their last respects testified, mutely, to the high esteem in which she was held by those who knew her best. Mrs. Klanecky was born in Moravia December 19, 1869. She came to this country in 1889 [sic-1879], with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Klapal, three sisters and one brother. They moved to Omaha, where they resided about three years. In 1883 they moved to Custer county, where Mrs. Klanecky lived with her parents until her marriage to Anton B. Stara in 1886. After her marriage she and her husband made their home in Ord. To this union four children were born, three surviving, Louisa, Henry and Camilla. Mr. Stara died in 1893. In 1894 she was united in marriage to Joseph Klanecky. Seven children were born, five surviving, Joe, Ed, Will, Anna and Adolph. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Joseph Klanecky; one sister, Mrs. Carolina Klanecky, and eight children. The member of the family wish us to say that they are very grateful for the many acts of kindness shown them during their hour of trouble and for the many beautiful floral offerings.
