Services for Geneva L. Gardner, 82, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Gustin officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. She died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at the University Manor Nursing Home. She was born on June 1, 1915, in Terrell. She married Garvel L.Gardner on October 5, 1935, in Fairley. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1990. She was a former member of the University Baptist Church. She was a seamstress and kept children in her home. Survivors include a son, Milton Gardner of Lubbock; a daughter, Linda Gail Schneider of Chester, Va.; a sister, Juanita Lowery of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
