Bio

Sometime after the 1920 U.S. census, Emma married Henry Alvin Pribyl, b. Jun. 26, 1886 in Bluff (near LaGrange), Fayette, TX. and died Jun. 9, 1959 of a heart attack in Cuero, DeWitt, TX. He was married at the time and his usual residence was 1724 Brigden Rd. in Pasadena, L.A., CA., so he must have died while visiting his family back in TX. Henry's parents were Jindrich 'Henry' Pribyl Wysatta, b. 1861 in Czechoslovakia and d. Feb. 13, 1887 in Hostyn, Fayette, TX. & Anna Amalia Fabian, b. Jul. 8, 1870 in Trjanovice, Moravia, Czechoslovakia and d. Sep. 20, 1945 in Yoakum, Lavaca, TX. In the 1930 U.S. census, 41 yr. old Emma A. Wysatta, b. in Switzerland, was living at 1724 Brigden Rd. in Pasadena, Los Angeles, CA. with her 43 yr. old husband, Henry A. Wysatta, a gardener on a private estate, b. in TX. 6 yr. old son, Howard A. Wysatta, b. in CA. Henry was 33 yrs. old and Emma was 31 when they married. Emma immigrated to the U.S. in 1907 and was now a naturalized citizen. Emma's parents were both b. in Switzerland. Henry's parents were both b. in Czechoslovakia. Henry's yr. old mother, Anna A. Wysatta, b. in Czechoslovakia, and 21 yr. old brother, Joseph H. Wysatta, a gardener on a private estate, b. in TX., were living next door. Anna immigrated to the U.S. in 1883 and was now a naturalized citizen.
