W.P.Buxkemper W.P. Buxkemper, 73, of Waco died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 19 at St. Louis Catholic Church with Monsignor Mark Deering as celebrant. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Mr. Buxkemper was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Lott, Texas, the son of Willie Buxkemper and Theresa Moeller Buxkemper. He was a longtime Waco resident, a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. He was married to Agnes Michalewicz for 51 years; they were married on Aug. 13, 1947. He was retired from the City of Waco Fire Dept. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 8135 and Monsignor J.J. Kearns Fourth Degree Assembly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes M. Buxkemper on Feb. 27, 1999; two brothers, Walter Buxkemper and Edmond Buxkemper; four sisters, Bertha Reiger, Lenora Hoelsher, Sister Innocentia and Anna Mae Helpert. Survivors include four daughters; Betty Moore and husband Larry of Waco, Janet Hill and husband George of Houston, Loretta Thomas and husband Frank of Lorena and Karen Buxkemper of Waco; four sons, Melvin Buxkemper and wife Diane of Elm Mott, Mark Buxkemper and wife Andra of College Station, Steve Buxkemper and wife Sharon of Lenoir City, Tenn., and Paul Buxkemper and wife Faith of Hewitt; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
