VICTORIA - Fredie H. "Fred" Lott, 67, of Victoria, passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009. He was born July 19, 1941, in Harper, to the late Wesley Arthur and Leona Elizabeth "Betty" Surber Lott, at the home of the late John and Emilie Lott, his grandparents. Fred served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was an auto electrician by trade, oilfield worker, and manager of health clubs and the Cowgirl Club of Victoria. He was also the owner of a lawn and tree service in Georgetown. Fred loved the outdoors, cooking, animals and Texas history. Survivors include his constant companion and girlfriend of 15 years, Susan Young; his children, Mechelle Frieze of Austin, Steven Lott of Georgetown, Rocky Lott of Milsap, and Danielle Lott of Hallettsville; his nine grandchildren, Christian, Sierra and Hunter Brister, Sieralyn, Cade, Skylar, Laura and Kristen Lott, and Kaylee Marek; brothers, Wes (Linda), Chester, Leroy (Debbie), Ronald (Connie), Donald (Denise) Lott; sisters, Sharron Otto (Joe), Kathy Moye (Darryl), and Patty Lott; cousin, Sandra Kennedy; his best friend and nephew, Rick McCann; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and nieces. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A service celebrating Fred's life will be held at a later date.
