Obituary from unnamed newspaper, probably the Wichita Eagle: Wichita, Kan.--A graveside service for Gloria June Atkins, 71, will be at a later date in Wichita Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 4, 1930, in Wichita to Alvie and Bertha McAuley Dunagan and died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was raised and attended school in Wichita. She married Harold Robert Smith July 1, 1946, in Wichita. He died in 1976. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Central Community Church of God. Surviving are two sons, . . . ; a daughter, . . . ; two brothers, Bill Dunagan of Roseburg, Ore., and Earl Dunagan of Wichita; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold [Smith]. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the charity of donor's choice. Notes: Her obituary does not mention a spouse "Atkins". Unable to find a marriage after the death of her first husband in 1976.
