His obituary in the Carroll Journal, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, September 30, 1943. Stewart N. Miller, 77, of near East Rochester, died Monday, September 27, at his home. He was a native of Carroll County and a member of Carrollton Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Taylor of Milwaukee and Mrs. Fred Snively of Carrollton; a son, Dwight of the home; a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Scarlott of New Harrisburg; a brother, M. T. Miller of Carrollton and three grandchildren. Services were held yesterday in the Herrington Church with Rev. M. Ray Smith officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery with the Rutledge-Jackson parlors of Minerva in charge.
