Bio

The funeral for Gladys C. McKee, 79, of 625 Stevens St., Medford, who died Monday, was held today in the North Keeneway Church of Christ with Kenneth Green Officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Conger-Morris Funeral Directors, Medford, were in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Keeneway Church of Christ, 1885 N. Keeneway Drive, Medford. Mrs. McKee was born Sept. 18, 1902, in Baton Rouge, La. On Dec. 10, 1932, in Pomona, Calif., she married Harry M. McKee, who died in November 1977. Mrs. McKee moved to the Rogue Valley 25 years ago, living in Ashland and Phoenix areas before moving to Medford. She was a member of the Keeneway Church of Christ and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Medford. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Fontaine, Clatskanie; two sisters, Rachel Irwin, Phoenix, and Lydia Dangerfield, Central Point; one brother, Basil Craig, Ashland; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
