Herald Coaster, February 10, 1966: Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Wleczyk, 62, were held from the Triska Rosenberg Chapel at 8:45 a.m. Monday Feb. 7, followed by Requiem Mass at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 9 a.m., with Msgr. J.J. Tydlacka officiating. Mrs. Wleczyk was born in Fayetteville on April 26, 1903. She made her home in the Orchard Community. She passed away suddenly at the Polly Ryon Hospital following a heart attack. Survivors are three sons, Charlie and Robert of Rosenberg, and George of Victoria; three daughters, Mrs. Stella Svoboda of Orchard, Mrs. Angeline Kulas of New Hampshire, and Mrs. Bessie Gutowsky of Rosenberg; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Paul Zbranek, Bill Zbranek, and Gus Zbranek of East Bernard; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Stifford of Wharton, Mrs. Fannie Evans and Mrs. Kristine Maly of Hungerford, Mrs. Annie Pavlicek of New Ulm. Pallbearers were Larry Zbranek, Raymond Wleczyk, Larry Mazan, Raymond Kucera, George H. Janik, and Clarence Kucera. Interment was made in the East Garden of Gethsemane, with the Triska Funeral Home in charge.
