Bio

Ione R. White, 79, a retired private home nurse in Fort Worth, died Wednesday in a Haltom City nursing home. A native of Waxahachie, Mrs. White had lived in Fort Worth 39 years. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Funeral will be at 3pm Saturday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, with burial in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd White of Fort Worth and Davey Lee White of Tucson, Arizona; two daughters, Lorelle Blankenship and Joyce Johnson, both of Fort Worth; 12 Grandchildren; and 8 Great-grandchildren. (Printed in Fort Worth Star Telegram on April 16, 1981) Also, arrangements were made by Lucas Funeral home and Rev. Harvey Penley officiated the service. She was my maternal Grandmother (Granny)and I loved her very much. We will miss her always.
