Doris Kennedy Hill of Greenville, Texas passed away November 9, 2011 at the age of 69. She was born July 14, 1942 to Ruby Edgar and Eva Lou (Renfro) Kennedy in Culleoka, Texas. Doris was a homemaker and a member of Higher Trails Cowboy Church in Merit, Texas. She is survived by husband, Jimmy Hill Sr. of Greenville; sons, Jimmy Hill Jr. and wife Debbie of McKinney, Mike Hill of Blue Ridge, Bobby Hill and Chris Hill of Greenville; daughter, Susie Pate and husband Rodney of Princeton; grandchildren, Michael and Tracy Hill of Farmersville, Holly and Jason Burgess of Greenville, Jimmy and Diana Hill of Greenville, Ashley Hill of Wylie, Katie, Kellie and Will Pate of Princeton, Jennifer and Johnnie Boyd of McKinney; great grandchildren, Jacob, Kassidy, Willie, Troy and Klayton; brother, Jimmy Kennedy of Bonham; sisters, Faye Hill of Plano, Lynda Thomas of Princeton; sisters-in-law, Ruthie Kennedy of Fairview, Dorothy Kennedy and Daisy Kennedy both of McKinney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Edgar and Eva Kennedy; brothers, Bill Kennedy, Frankie Kennedy and Troy Kennedy. Funeral services were held November 11, 2011 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment followed at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
