Bio

Albert Martin "Boog" Carter was born on August 31, 1934, in Maud, Texas and passed way on May 25, 2013 at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by wife, Maurita Carter. He is survived by daughter, Sonja Land and husband Jeff, daughter Susan O'Brien and husband Ronnie, brother Edward "Shorty" Carter and wife Marie, sister Billie Jo "Sis" Vineyard, current wife Melba Carter and step-children, Janice Henry and Ted Chester, Treasa Brown and husband Patrick, and Thomas Henry along with a multitude of friends and family. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home and a gravesite service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 10:15 a.m. at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Mesquite Masonic Lodge #928, P.O. Box 850001, Mesquite, TX 75185 in his memory. He will be deeply missed by all.
