Daughter of William George Washington Paschall and Mary Ann Johnson. Wife of (1)William Felix Groom, (2)John F. Brisendine and (3)Jacob M. Carter Texas Mesquiter 13 Aug 1943 Mrs. Parlee Carter Rites Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. Parlee Carter, 80, sister of Ed D. Paschall and Mattie Mathis, of Mesquite, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Mesquite, with the Rev. Bill Morgan Smith officiating. Mrs. Carter Died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Perryman, 4835 Philip. Born October 22, 1862 in Dallas near the site of the present courthouse, Mrs. Carter was the daughter of Bill and Mary Ann Paschall, early pioneers in the county. She had been a member of the Methodist Church for more than sixty-two years. Burial was in Long Creek, with Homer Wyatt, Nugent Graham, Jim Graham, Olin Paschall, Earl Paschall and Allen Mathis as pallbearers.
