Griffin -------------------------------------------- Funeral services for Rosemary Griffin, 90, of Tyler, are scheduled at Lloyd James Funeral Home with Bro. Benny Portwood officiating. Rosemary passed away on June 20, 2014, in Tyler. She was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Wichita Falls. A lifetime Texan, she graduated from Vernon High School and Tyler Business College, then worked as a senior probation clerk for the United States Federal Court in Tyler for about 30 years before retiring in 1982. She was preceded in death by: * her sister, Betty June Gladney * her husband, Bill Griffin * daughter, Diana Swinney * son, George Swinney * great-grandsons, Dakota Swinney #112929061 and Caleb Weaver #20119200 She is survived by: * 2 sons, Tom and Robert Swinney * daughter-in-law, Elaine Swinney * 5 grandchildren * 10 great-grandchildren Published in Tyler Morning Telegraph, June 22, 2014 -------------------------------------------------- Parents were V.D.
