Second wife of George Scott Coats, Jr. and the mother of Scott Jr.'s two known children, Cornelia "Nelia" Coats Davis and Minnie Coats Davis. Tilda and Scott Jr. were married before 1883 based on birth of their oldest daughter Nelia. Tilda died before 1888 based on Scott Jr.'s third marriage to his sister-in-law Martha Jane Gray Coats (wife of John William Coats).
