Herald Coaster, October 25, 1994: Funeral services for Frances M. Hayek of Rosenberg, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Davis-Greenlawn Chapel in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. A rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Davis-Greenlawn Chapel, 3900 B.F. Terry (FM 2218 & Highway 59), Rosenberg. Deacon David Mitchell will officiate the services. Mrs. Hayek was born May 17, 1915 in Plum. She passed away Monday, Oct. 24, in Rosenberg. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 271, Rosenberg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Hayek; brothers, Henry, John, and Ludwig Polasek; sisters, Millie Kadlecek and Albina Ruckert. Her survivors include a niece, Joan Stavinoha, and husband, Robert, of Rosenberg; great-niece, Paula Sheffield and husband, Mike, of Sulphur; great-great-niece and nephew, Jason and Cassie Sheffield of Sulphur, La.; sister, Annie Deller of Galveston; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
