Donald W. Peppel of West Fargo ND passed away February 16, 2014 with his family surrounding him at his Mesa, AZ home. The memorial and celebration of Dons life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo, ND. Don was born on October 13, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN to Grace Peppel. He was raised and educated in Fessenden ND. Don married Mae Georgeson in 1954 in Heimdal, ND. Don is survived by his wife, Mae, daughters Susan (Darold) Schmuhl, Jamestown, ND and Jan Schwartz, West Fargo; grandchildren Lacy (Derek) Halvorson, Alyssa Montgomery, Samantha Dick, Megan Schwartz and Brady Schwartz; and great grandchildren Hakan and Adeline Halvorson. Also surviving him are brothers Dale Peppel, Glen Peppel and Bill Peppel, along with many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
