Viola Mae Smith Clark was born December 10, 1921 in Harleton, TX. the 8th and the last surviving of 9 children of Andrew and Nonnie Starr Smith. She attended Piney and Harleton schools. She was married to Leon P. Clark, Sr. for 53 years. Viola loved to crochet, dance, do puzzles, and play bingo and dominoes. Viola was preceded in death by her husband and two children, son, Calvin Clark and daughter, Reba Kay Clark, as well as granddaughter, Lisa Hancock.
