Patsy Ruth McLemore, 87 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday morning, March 29, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was born to the late Claiborne L. Corbett and Edna G. Brown Corbett on February 24, 1927 in Midlothian. Patsy was known for her hospitality and her cooking. She enjoyed being home and taking care of her family. She taught Sunday school and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 67 years. She married her loving husband, Eugene in 1945 and they enjoyed 69 loving years together. Patsy was a member of the Baylor Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Eugene McLemore of Waxahachie; her daughter, Dixie Browning and her husband, Charles of Waxahachie; her daughter-in-law, Jessica Marler of Ovilla; her sister, Edna Hayes of Ennis; 3 grandchildren, Charles Browning and wife, Shannon of Denton, Jennifer Ledbetter and husband, David of Rowlett, Holly Browning of Waco and Mashayla Marler of Ovilla; 3 great grandchildren, Evelyn Ledbetter, Bella Browning and William North. She was preceded in death by her parents; also by her son, Aaron McLemore; and her twin brother, Lee Corbett. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Vernon Samson and Charles North, MDiv officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
