From obituary [email protected] : BLACKFOOT - Archie E. Bennett, 64, of Moreland, died about 9 pm Thursday on a hunting trip on the American Falls Reservoir. He was born November 13, 1902 in Absarokee, Montana and moved to the Blackfoot area about 40 years ago. He attended school in Absarokee and two years of college in Billings, Montana. He married Lorine Johnson. She died in April 1955. He married Myrtle Peterson September 22, 1955 in Jackson, Wyoming. He was a veteran of World War II. He served in the Philippines. He loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include his widow; three sons, Bill S. Bennett, 17; Donald H. Bennett, 16, and Archie N. Bennett, 11, all of Moreland; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Marcher, Park City, Montana, and Mrs. Edith Brass, Spokane, Washington.
