Corsicana Daily Sun; Feb 3, 1947 William Sam Smith, Jr., aged 10 years, died in a Houston hospital Sunday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Ennis at the Keever’s Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery at Ennis. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Smith, Houston; grandfathers, A. W. Lynch, Corsicana, and Will T. Smith, Houston; an aunt, Mrs. Young Hawkins, Corsicana and other relatives.
