CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Robert (Bob) Thomas Broussard, 62, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2008. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather (Gampa) and will be truly missed by his loving family. Robert Thomas Broussard was born on July 19, 1945 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Korniker Goode Broussard and Mary Louise Koenig Broussard. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Cindy) A. Broussard of Corpus Christi, Texas, his sons, Christopher (Chris) Benjamin Broussard of Corpus Christi, Texas and Sean Warren Broussard of Victoria, Texas, his daughters Ashley Lurinda Broussard (Michael Tamez) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Amber Leigh Broussard Crandall (Michael) of Shelley, Idaho and his grandson, the light of his life, Michael Anthony Tamez, Jr. and a granddaughter, Lauren Renate Broussard of Victoria, Texas along with numerous other relatives and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Korniker Goode Broussard and Mary Louise Koenig Broussard, and his son, David Gerald Broussard. Robert graduated from Wharton High School, in Wharton, Texas around 1963 before joining the Army in August of 1967 where he served in Vietnam receiving many metals and awards till he was honorably discharged from the Army in June of 1976. Robert was a very family oriented man. He loved spending time going places and doing things with his family. He loved spending time on the water going fishing with his son. He enjoyed working around the house fixing things up and in the yard making it look nice for his family. His family was his life. Visitation and funeral services were held on June 10th at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
