Smythe, 99, of Placerville, Calif., was born Dec. 11, 1913, in Buffalow Gap, S.D., and passed away Nov. 9, 2013, in Placerville. She was preceded in death by her husband; her brothers, Cliff Smolik, Amos Smolik, Max Smolik, Tony Smolik and Tom Smolik; and sisters, Francis Smith and Helen Glaze. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Gerry) and David (Shirley); two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Agnes will be interred in Boise, Idaho.
