Bio

Daughter of Anton & Margaret (Bonne) Potrzeba. Bonnie May Taylor, age 50, of rural Gibbon, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000 at her home south of Gibbon. A mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday July 13, 2000 from St. James Catholic Church in Kearney, with the Reverend Tim Stoner officiating. Burial was in the Gibbon Riverside Cemetery. Use of Memorials will be determined later. Godberson Mortuary of Gibbon/Shelton was in charge of arrangements. Bonnie was born March 30, 1950 in Grand Island to Anton and Margaret (Boone) Potrzeba. She grew up on a farm northeast of Grand Island, attending grade school in St. Libory. She graduated from Grand Island Northwest High School in 1968 and later Grand Island School of Business. Ms. Taylor had held employment in Grand Island and Kearney where she made her home until moving to Arizona in the early 1990's. She returned to the family farm south of Gibbon in 1996 to be with her parents. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include her parents and one brother, Duane and wife Kathleen, of Hastings. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
