A memorial service for Larry James, 48, of Durant, who passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in Lindsay, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Dalton-Holmes Chapel. Rev. Gerald Kelly will officiate. Larry was born Saturday, April 30, 1960, in Lubbock, Texas, to Troy Dean James and Joyce (Pigg) James. He was a carpenter and a hard worker. He was an unselfish person. The most important thing to him was being with his family. He also loved his dog. Larry is survived by his mother of Durant, sister Tonja Knight of Durant and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. Family will be today from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at [email protected] . Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
