Bio

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, for Howard Vern Glazebrook. He died at the age of 73 on Monday, June 21. The 1:30 p.m. services will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Luckey at the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. Howard Vern Glazebrook was born on September 2, 1897, in Ringgold County, Iowa, being the son of Wesley and Emma Lawrence Glazebrook. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and had lived in Osceola since 1950. Prior to that time he lived in Grand River. He had been a farmer and veteran of World War II. On October 10, 1917, he was married to Vera Metts. Three children were born to this union. He was preceded in death by: parents; one grandson; and one brother, Wayne.
